Paestum is an archaeological site recognized as a UNESCO heritage site. It is an ancient city of Magna Graecia called by the founders Poseidonia and later Paestum by the Romans.
You will admire its three Greek temples: the temple of Hera (the oldest one), the so-called Basilica, the temple of Poseidon considered the largest and the temple of Ceres, the Sanctuary dedicated to Athena.
You can also admire the Roman Forum, the Amphitheater and visit the National Archaeological Museum where ancient archaeological finds are exhibited, including the famous fresco found on the Tomb of the diver.
After stepping into the past on this tour, we'll stop at a dairy in the area for an unmissable gastronomic stop. You can taste the famous Bufala Campana mozzarella, a typical local product with a unique and inimitable flavor.
